First, prepare the mapping data file of the earth. This data file is what to be drawn by Mercator projection. Prepare two data files (a ground and a cloud). Second, create a new scene in Bryce5 and click on the infinite plane that first appears in the window.
Select the Delete from the Edit menu and delete the infinite plane.
Click on the word Sky&Fog.
Click on the small right arrow next to the word Sky&Fog.
Select the starlit sky.
Click on the word Create.
Click on the Sphere icon.
Dragging little control handles, adjust the size. Also, adjust the sphere position.
Click on the little M.
Click on the disk to the right of the DIFFUSE.
Click on the P in the Image Texture.
Click on the Texture Source Editor button.
Ckick on any one of the small squares and load the image.
Click on any one of the small squares and load the image.
Click on the check mark in the lower right corner.
Click on the check mark in the lower right corner.
Confirm that the sphere is selected in red and select the Copy from the Edit menu.
Select the Paste from the Edit menu.
Click on the little A.
Increase the size of sphere (cloud) to about +2.
Click on the little M.
Click on the Texture Source Editor button.
Click on any one of the small squares.
Click on any one of the small squares.
Click on the check mark in the lower right corner.
Set the DIFFUSION and the TRANSPARENCY to 100% and other sections to 0%.
