Create a Hollowed-out Asteroid@yTutorial Moviez
The hollowed-out asteroid, where the inner-core asteroid is covered with the outer core, is featured such as the planet Gamilas and the planet Telezart in the japanese science fiction anime series Uchu Senkan Yamato ( known to English-speaking audiences as Space Cruiser Yamato and Star Blazers ). There are some hollows fretted on the outer core. Now click on the Cylinder icon to create the hollows on the outer core.
Click on the little A.
Specify the Negative to carve hollows in a asteroid in performing Negative Boolean operation.
Click on the cylinder and select the Multi-Replicate... from the Edit menu.
Enter the number of cylinders to create.
Appropriately alter the size of the cylinders (hollows).
Select all of the cylinders. Click on the word Edit.
Select the 2D Disperse Rotate.
Click on the disk and drag the mouse over it. Disperse the cylinders.
Click on the central spherical button in the Align tool and align all of the selected objects at their respective centers.
Adjust each cylinder position not to be disproportionate between the hollows evenly in the asteroid.
Click on the word Create and the Sphere icon.
Click on the little A.
Select the Negative and specify the size.
Click on the Sphere icon.
Click on the little A.
Select the Positive and specify the size.
Select all the objects and click on the Edit menu. Click on the disk (Align all) in the Align tool and align all of them.
Click on the little G. This brings the hollowed-out asteroid.
Set a light source to illuminate the asteroid from the inside. Click on the word Create and then the Radial Light icon.
Click on the little E.
Set the Light Intensity to 70 and the Color to orange or similar colors.
Select all the objects. Click on the Edit menu. Click on the disk (Align all) in the Align tool and align all of them.
Select all the objects except Radical Light and click on the little M.
Specify a material as the surface of the asteroid.
Click on the check mark in the lower right corner.
Render and confirm the result.
